The London Times of Aug 30, 1860 reported the arrival of the General  
Caufield. On Sept 1, 1860 they reported:

The East India troopship General Caulfield, Capt. Richards, which  
arrived in the Thames with military invalids from Madras, disembarked  
her troops at Custom-house-quay, Gravesend, yesterday....
