Thanks Marg

I have seen the page regarding the 80th before, and I've found nothing of
what I'm looking for there.
In fact, it does not include the name of my soldier among those who stayed,
just among those who were known to be in Australia on garrison duty.
I have previously tried to contact the site owner to correct this a number
of times but had no response.

The Trove article you linked to, is one of the ways I know about the 6
women and children.
http://trove.nla.gov.au/ndp/del/article/12859342 and
http://trove.nla.gov.au/ndp/del/article/32156627 are the other two articles
that told me those 6 women and children were related to the soldiers.

I'd love to see that list of ship descriptions, maybe I can narrow down
what kind of vessel the Heber was.

Thanks
Kathy
