                        *new* for TheShipsList website
                          http://www.theshipslist.com/

All the new and updated files and databases have been placed on their
own page(s) Find them on the front page in between the big arrows
                           --------------> <---------------

At the bottom of each of these pages I have placed links named "
previous month " and " next month " so you are able to navigate back and
forth between the monthly *new & updated* pages, as I only keep three
months of *new* page links on the Home page. New for May 2013 is . . .

  o Ship Arrivals:
o Ships to Quebec 1831 ...still in progress, however ...

... first page completely finished .. some really great stuff, even if
you aren't looking for 1831 Quebec arrivals

  o Immigration Reports:
o Immigration Reports for Adelaide, 1866-1867 arrivals (October 1867
report added)

  o Passengers:
    o South Australia
o ship Berar, from London via Plymouth to Port Adelaide 6th June 1867
      o
    o Quebec Steamboats
o John Molson - 1st trip up, Quebec to Montreal, 25th April 1831
      o Chambly - Crew List - 1831
      o Chambly - 1st trip up, Quebec to Montreal, 28th April 1831
      o Chambly - 2nd trip up, Quebec to Montreal, 3rd May 1831

The BERAR is the last 1867 vessel with assisted emigrants, for South
Australia. Some interesting immigrants with accompanying family
connections. There are no assited emigrants for 1868, so we will be
moving to 1869.

These steamboat lists were in pretty good shape ... some names attracted
me and I found them mentioned on Ancestry with no real idea of
emigration year. They will be surprised if they google the names in a
few days. The CHAMBLY crew list was pretty tame compared to some. The
margin notes .. such as "discharged for stealing sugar, August 14th" or
even "discharged 1st October for being uppity" <smile>

Please share this *new* for TheShipsList website email, with any other
list to which you belong if you think it might be of interest or value
to those list members (in other words, on-topic).
Enjoy !!
