                           *new* for TheShipsList website
                            http://www.theshipslist.com/

All the new and updated files and databases have been placed on their
own page(s) Find them on the front page in between the big arrows
                         --------------> <---------------

At the bottom of each of these pages I have placed links named "
previous month " and " next month " so you are able to navigate back and
forth between the monthly *new & updated* pages, as I only keep three
months of *new* page links on the Home page. New for October2012 is . . .

This is all of the South Australian German passenger lists for 1862 and
are quite complete as far as the available sources are concerned,
however, as usual, if anyone can spot any errors or omissions, please
contact Robert (link on the passenger list pages)

The CANADIAN EAGLE steamboat passenger lists for 1835 are still terrific
compared to some other lists. There are still lots of
emigrants aboard these August lists and some joy for some I hope, as the
captain of the brig CONGRESS, from Maryport, paid the steamboat fare for
the six person family of John Spark / Sparks. The Emigrant Society
Tickets are usually recorded more fully and most of the families seem to
be headed by women. One great name, Florilla Wright!

Please share this *new* for TheShipsList website email, with any other
list to which you belong if you think it might be of interest or value
to those list members (in other words, on-topic).
Enjoy !!
