The London Times of Monday, Dec 03 reported:

Liverpool, Saturday Evening.--Arrived...(names ships then) Put back  
the Hero, for Africa; the Hibernia, for New South Wales; ...

The "Accident" was reported in the Times on Thursday, May 2, 1833 and  
your gg grandmother's name is listed.
