[TSL] question about a notation on ship's manifest
Susi Godfrey <susi.godfrey@gmail.com> on 10/20/2013

I'm looking at SS George Washington sailing from Bremen on 9/30/1911 and
arriving in NY on 10/9/1911, pg 126..line 20. Under category 18, "Whether
going to join a relative or friend...", I see "acqn" Ignak Lobieski. Could
those first letters be an abbreviation for "acquaintence"?

Thanks for any suggestions!
