[TSL] "Hibernia" Orphans transported to Tasmania 1832
"Murray Reid" <mhhr@xtra.co.nz> on 11/05/2016

The ship "Hibernia" is believed to have been carrying about 30 young women
orphans from Dublin when she sailed from Liverpool in December 1832. She was
lost to fire at sea and barely 80 of the compliment of 230 were saved, taken
to Rio, and then on to Tasmania.

My gt gt grandmother was one of the lucky few. (Elizabeth Bunker)

What records may still exist to confirm she was one of the orphans?

Murray Reid
