The NY Times of Aug 3, 1866 reads:

ARRIVED.
...
Bark Argonaut, (Brem.,) Steengrafe, Bremen 43 ds., with mdse. and 270  
passengers to R.M. Sloman & Edye. had one birth and two deaths on the  
passage.

So this ship came from Bremen and went to NY.

I checked a Canadian paper, Globe and Mail, and see that a ship by  
this name was going to Quebec but it was from Greenock, Scotland and  
Captain was Mckenzie.
