[TSL] SS OAKMORE
"David Railton" <railton.david@btinternet.com> on 03/15/2013

An ancestor was on the SS 'Oakmore'. There is a story handed down in the
family of a 'Board of Inquiry' regarding this vessel in which the ancestor
was involved.

The 1901 census shows him aboard the 'Oakmore' in Hornby dock, Liverpool.
>From the limited details I have of his record he was working for Johnson
Line from about 1894 until September 1901 when he joined White Star Line.

Can anyone tell me where I might find records of an inquiry involving the
'Oakmore' between 1894 and 1901?

David
