I can only tell you what the New York Times of Jan 17, 1854 printed  
about the ship:

Ship Hermine (Brem.), Raschen, Bremen, 34 ds., mdse.
and 182 passengers to Paverstadt & Schumacker, 13th inst., lat 36 44,  
lon. 73 30, saw bark Mopang hove to under bare piles.
