When a ship went 12 knots speed (wooden hull,paddle,steam, 1869) from New York to Breman, Germany, how long would that take them? I have no idea how fast that is and how long it would take to cross the Atlantic. Does anyone have information on this? Thanks, Alvera ayoung7233@aol.com
