[TSL] (TSL) - Ship from Germany around 1879

Hi,

I am wondering if anyone can help me.  I am new to the ship list and to ship research.  I am trying to find the ship on which my ancestors traveled to the US.

My gg grandfather John SCHLOTZHAUER, born July 16, 1842 and his brother Adam came to the US around 1879.  John was married to Anna FLOCK and they had five children (Casper, William, August, Anna, and Alice).  All came together aboard the same ship.  My family settled in upstate NY so I would assume they arrived in NY.  I have been told by family members that they may have come from Sachsen-Weimar, Thuringia, Germany.

I did find a group of Schlotzhauer's on an internet site with that listed Caspar, August, Wihelm and Elise (Alise ?) listed under 'Passenger and Immigration lists: Germans to America, 1875-1888 (#356)'  but no other info unless you purchase the CD, which I may do.

Any help would be appreciated.
