I have very little info on the engines (what happened down there was always
a complete mystery to us on the bridge!), anyway, here is what I have.

HAWKES BAY Twin screw, 2 x triple expansion, 804 nhp, 4 single boilers,, 200
psi, 13 knots.

NEVASA Twin screw, 2 x 4 cyl. quad. expansion. 6,000 IHP. 7 single ended
boilers at 180 psi. 14.5 knots by builder.
