Found an important family member's ship manifest on the hamburg.de site last night. Paid for the information online.
I wanted to confirm that this is my great aunt and eventual step grandmother. Tried to find the Ellis Island arrival manifest but the microfilm seems to be missing. Has anyone read the film for late May early June 1897 arrivals? Using the Stephen Morse website I put in the date and ship and got this error:
k:\M237-0674\M237-06740001
Can anyone check that the Furst Bismarck departing Hamburg on teh 13 of May 1897 did arrive in NY?
My ancestor is Maria Zdziebko age 26, single, last residence Zarzece.
Thanks!
Ceil
