                           *new* for TheShipsList website

All the new and updated files and databases have been placed on their
own page(s) Find them on the front page in between the big arrows
                          --------------> <---------------

At the bottom of each of these pages I have placed links named "
previous month " and " next month " so you are able to navigate back and
forth between the monthly *new & updated* pages, as I only keep three
months of *new* page links on the Home page. New for May 2014 is . . .

  o Passengers:
    o Quebec Steamboats
o St. Lawrence - 15th trip up, Quebec to Montreal, 15th July 1831
o John Molson - 14th trip up, Quebec to Montreal, 17th July 1831
       o Chambly - 14th trip up, Quebec to Montreal, 21st July 1831
     o South Australia
o ship St. Vincent, from London via Plymouth to Port Adelaide
November 5th, 1874
o barque, Dinapore, from London via Cape Town to Port Adelaide
November 26th, 1874
o ship City of Benares, from London to Port Adelaide December
20th, 1874

Three more Quebec steamboat passenger list for 1831. The JOHN MOLSON is
the favourite this time, with well over 700 passengers. I included
images for two names and I'm hoping some can chime in with some
suggestions, even if you don't have any 1831 settlers.

The last three assisted passenger lists for SA for 1874. Once again,
lots of really interesting immigrants. The ST. VINCENT even has a
couple of Chelsea pensioners, one identified, with children born all over
the place.

Please share this *new* for TheShipsList website email, with any other
list to which you belong if you think it might be of interest or value
to those list members (in other words, on-topic).
Enjoy !!
