I would be interested in anything about that sail.  My we hav no fur gggrandfather was reported lost at sea in that time period.  We have no other information other his surname was  Coomes. He had a son born abt. 1817-1818 named James T. Coomes, died abt 1900. Thought to be from Ireland.
