Hi Janette

Having problems with this . Is there a typo in this 1857
marriage year ?

Civil registration of BDMs dates from 1 March 1856 . Prior to
that date this areas parish names were usually Monaro/
Queanbeyan/ Twofold Bay. Dont recall seeing Eucumbene . Even
today this is a name of a Lake and a river ........ not a town

After civil rego the area name was Cooma

Cant find any ref to any Peter CLARK/E 1857 marriage

There is an extensive Monaro Pioneers web site . No ref found
for Peter CLARK/E
